Rot Repair (before / after)
This project started out as a window replacement but it was determined that the deck never had the proper deck flashing and the entire East wall was rotten. We replaced the sheathing, studs, windows and siding as needed and then re built the deck with proper flashing. This job also include new drywall and paint to the 2 lower bedrooms. Having a continuous water shed is the most important thing to understand when building a house on the Outer Banks.
